Congratulations to the Year 10 boys who took part in a 7's tournament at Cwmbran Stadium this week. The team played brilliantly and were unfortunately defeated in the semi final in extra time. Da iawn boys! 

Abersychan School is very proud of the hard work and commitment shown by these players who were excellent throughout the competition on and off the pitch. Unlucky to come away with a 5-2 defeat but we wish Whitchurch the very best of luck in the final.

Pupils were rewarded this week for all their hard work during the spring term, with bags of sweets, chocolate bars and stationary chosen by them from the Abersychan Reward Store. Since September pupils have spent over 70 000 points and are already looking forward to their summer term treats.

We’ve now welcomed our very special, new vending machine! Filled with a selection of books, we are now able to offer our students an exciting reward at the end of every half term. Students will be nominated to receive a ‘Golden Ticket’ token, which they may use to select a book from the machine and, from the end of the summer term, students will also be able to purchase ‘Golden Ticket’ tokens via the Class Charts Reward Shop!
