Music Success

Well done to the following pupils who performed so well at the Gwent Music Concert on Sunday 6th January at the Millennium Centre, Cardiff.

The students were involved in a four day course with the Senior and Intermediate Brass Bands of Gwent Music. Over the four days they rehearsed a wide variety of music ready for performance on Sunday 6^th January at the BBC Hoddington Hall based at the Wales Millennium Centre. The music performed was a variety of traditional Brass Band arrangements, contemporary pieces and pieces from film. The pieces included a number of solos including one taken by Eleri Miles. Well done to Eleri also on achieving the award for Most Improved Performer within the Senior Band.

Performing at this level is great recognition for the talent, hardwork and effort put in by the pupils and their teachers.
