Llangrannog (February 2019)
Last month twenty eight year 7 pupils attended a trip to the Urdd Centre in Llangrannog, West Wales. We also had seven year 11 pupils attend the trip as 'Swogs' who volunteered their weekend to help supervise and support pupils during their stay at Llangrannog. Pupils had the opportunity to practise speaking Welsh daily during their stay. As well as improving their Welsh oracy skills the pupils enjoyed various outdoor activities such as; skiing, climbing, zip-lining, go karting, archery, swimming, tobogganing and the high ropes course. In the night pupils took part in dancing, bingo, sports games and a disco Saturday evening. All pupils thoroughly enjoyed their stay and made lots of effort to speak to staff at Llangrannog in Welsh. Pupils were enthuasiastic and had a brilliant attitude during their stay at the centre which made the trip even more enjoyable for all
Here are some quotes from the year 7 pupils that attended as well as the year 11 swogs.
