Duke of Edinburgh - Practice Expedition (23 and 24 June 2016)
Year 10 Duke of Edinburgh students recently accomplished their practice Bronze expedition.
The aim of the expedition was to prepare them for the challenges of completing the qualifying walk which they will be assessed on next month.
The pupils walked a total of 18km of the Wye Valley over two days, camping overnight in the Biblins Youth Campsite where they had to set up their own tents and cook food on a stove.
All pupils completed the walk successfully and are fully prepared for their qualifying expedition at Llangorse Lake.
