Expressive Arts

The Expressive Arts curriculum at Abersychan School advances creativity, confidence and cultural awareness through immersive experiences in Art, Textiles, Photography, Drama and Music. Students develop as both creators and audiences, exploring artistic traditions and identities from Wales, and around the world.

Our curriculum invites students to engage with complex themes, challenge norms and express ideas through a range of artistic forms. By working physically, socially and emotionally, students build resilience, self-awareness and critical thinking skills that extend into all areas of life.
