At Abersychan School, we believe that excellent attendance and positive behaviour are the foundations of academic success, personal growth and future opportunities. That’s why we are launching Abersychan ABC: a whole-school initiative focused on creating the very best Attendance, Behaviour, and Culture.
This programme is designed to build a positive, competitive and celebratory culture across the school, recognising the efforts and achievements of both individuals and form groups. By promoting good habits and celebrating success regularly, we aim to:
- Raise student aspirations
- Improve punctuality and attendance across all year groups
- Promote positive behaviour in and beyond the classroom
- Strengthen a sense of belonging, teamwork and pride in each form group
The Abersychan ABC rewards programme is underpinned by fairness, consistency and inclusivity. It gives every student and form group a fresh opportunity to succeed every fortnight, whether through excellent attendance, positive behaviour or noticeable improvement.
